Cajun & zydeco music & dance are the unique products of the French-speaking Cajun & Creole people of the bayous, swamps & prairies of South Louisiana and SE Texas. Krewe de Walleye is a group of folks that supports, sponsors, and organizes Cajun and zydeco music and dance activities by:
- Hosting dances with Cajun and zydeco bands from Louisiana and the Twin Cities area;
- Sponsoring Cajun and zydeco dance lessons and music workshops;
- Informing people about Cajun and zydeco music and dance, and Cajun and Creole culture;
- Promoting Cajun and zydeco music and dance activities, including dance cruises, lessons, trips to area festivals, and house parties.
